CONCEPT ARTIST

My name is Jeff Delgado and I am a character designer, illustrator and video game enthusiast. I am also a So Cal native and a graduate of the Laguna College of Art and Design with a major in Animation.

After graduating from college in June of 2003, I was recruited to the animation studio, South Park, where I developed my skills as a Technical Director for seven years. During this time, I’ve also gotten the opportunity to work on the Digital side of South Park - creating and developing specialized art projects for the company such as promotional posters, video games, and Cheesy Poofs packaging material.

On my spare time, I am constantly drawing, painting and working on various freelance projects

As a TD, it was my responsibility to take all the art assets from the Storyboard Department (new characters, backgrounds and props) and build them as 3D objects in Maya. I was also responsible for creating special effects animation (water, fire, electrical elements, etc) and setting up scenes in Maya to hand off to the animators.
